Use of waste heat

The efficient use of waste heat from a wide variety of sources is an important component of the energetic optimization of systems and contributes to the reduction of operating costs and CO₂ emissions. Depending on the amount of heat, type of use, temperature level and spatial distance of the heat sources, various heat carriers such as hot water, air, thermal oil or steam are used.
